Remember Memes of the Floating World? They're back. In POG form.
The 90's POG craze actually started in Hawaii in the 70's when the POG (Pineapple, Orange, Guava) drink producers started printing cardboard bottle caps with the POG logo on them. The cap slamming/flipping game itself was possibly influenced by the Japanese game of menko, where players throw thick printed cards at one another and try to flip their opponent’s cards over. It seemed to me a no-brainer to produce an exclusive MOTFW set of POG for discerning collectors.
