These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Memes of the Floating World online shop and any purchase you make from it. The shop is operated by Memes of the Floating World LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a Washington-registered limited liability company. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy, and Shipping Policy, which are all part of these Terms.
Who may order
To place an order you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to enter into a binding contract. By ordering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method you select.
Products
We sell original art prints and related goods from the Memes of the Floating World series. We do our best to display our products — including colors and details — accurately, but the way they appear on your screen may differ slightly from the physical item. Prints and merchandise are made and inspected by hand, so small natural variations are normal and are not defects.
Some items may be limited in quantity. When an item shows limited stock, we cannot guarantee availability until your order is confirmed.
Prices and currency
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD). If you are shopping from outside the United States, Stripe may present and charge you in your local currency at checkout, using its own exchange rate; the USD price remains the reference price.
Prices, product descriptions, and availability may change at any time without notice. We try to keep everything accurate, but errors can occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of an item you have ordered, we will contact you and may cancel the order and issue a full refund (see "Order acceptance" below). Any applicable taxes are described in "Taxes" below.
Order acceptance
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. Your order is not accepted until we send you an order-confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order — for example, if an item is out of stock, if there was a pricing or product error, if we suspect fraud, or if we are unable to ship to your location. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund you in full.
Payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By submitting an order, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method for the total shown at checkout, including shipping. We do not receive or store your full card details. See our Privacy Policy for how payment information is handled.
Taxes
Prices shown do not include any sales, use, VAT, GST, or similar taxes. We do not currently collect sales tax at checkout. You are responsible for any taxes, customs duties, or import fees that may apply to your order — see our Shipping Policy for international duties.
Shipping and delivery
We ship worldwide from the United States. Shipping costs, processing times, delivery estimates, and rules about customs and lost packages are described in our Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed.

Intellectual property
All artwork, illustrations, designs, images, text, and logos in this shop and on our products are the property of Memes of the Floating World LLC / Griffin Waldau and are protected by copyright and other laws. When you buy a print or product, you are purchasing the physical item for personal use only. You do not acquire any rights to the artwork itself. You may not reproduce, copy, scan, resell as a reproduction, redistribute, or use our designs for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. You also may not copy or reuse content from this website except as needed to browse and shop normally.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use it in any way that could harm us or other users.
Disclaimers
Except where the law provides otherwise, our products and this website are provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited or excluded under the law that applies to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your purchase or use of this site is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. This does not affect your non-excludable statutory consumer rights.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If a dispute arises, we ask that you first contact us so we can try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled by the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the shop after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
